JKSimBlast is a drill-and-blast design, simulation, and analysis suite used in surface and underground mining and quarrying. It helps engineers plan blast patterns; define hole geometry, charging, and initiation timing; and simulate likely outcomes to support safe, efficient rock breakage and fragmentation control. The software provides visualization of timing networks and burden relief, estimates of fragmentation and muckpile shape, and tools to assess environmental impacts such as vibration and airblast. It supports importing survey/CAD data, building reusable templates and explosives/delay libraries, and generating clear plots and reports for field crews, management, and regulators. By enabling fast what‑if scenarios and thorough documentation, JKSimBlast helps reduce dilution and overbreak, improve ore recovery, manage risk, and control costs.
